Abstract

PURPOSE: To miniaturize a transmission current measuring instrument and also to lower its cost by suspending a magnetic field detection part, transmission part and power part driving the both by a transmission line and then by providing a reception part spatially away from the transmission line.
CONSTITUTION: Magnetic field detection part 2 detects a magnetic field generated around transmission line 1, and transmission part 3 converts an analog-value magnetic field detection signals given from magnetic detection part 2 into a digital value, code it and then sent it out to the space. Further, power transformer 4 and power circuit 5 forming a power supply part supply driving power to magnetic detection part 2 or transmission part 3. Then, those magnetic detection part 2, transmission part 3 and power supply part are suspended by transmission line 1. Reception part 6 is spatially isolated from magnetic field detection part and transmission part 3 and receives a surge signal from transmission part 3 to perfrom digital display of the current value. In this constitution, a high-dielectric-strength insulator can be omitted, so that the unit can be miniaturized and priced low.
