Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a drain separator which can remove drain contained in steam of a perpendicular line without switching it to a horizontal line.
CONSTITUTION: There are provided three tubes of an inlet tube l as central tube, an inner tube 3 and an outer tube 4 in the form of concentric circles. Rotor blades giving steam a revolutionary force are provided between the inlet tube and the inner tube. The apparatus is established in a perpendicular line system where the steam flows upwardly from lower part in order to separate drain in the steam.
