Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a humidifier in which a pump is shaped with larger thickness at its lower end portion as compared with other portions, whereby it is enabled to reduce vibration caused by the pump during its operation and thus to reduce vibration and noises produced by the entire apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: In order to improve productivity of humidifying apparatus, pump 7 which is most liable to cause unbalance is made of synthetic resin, and it is shaped to have a larger thickness at its converging portion 54 located on the gate side at the time of moulding than at large-diametered portion 53, so as to improve or promote inflow of resin at the time of moulding and to lower resin extruding pressure. As a result, deformaton of core mould can be prevented, so that it is enabled to manufacture a pump having less unbalance with the material being distributed uniformly.
