Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a resin composition having excellent mechanical and chemical properties, and useful for industrial use, by compounding an aromatic polyester polycarbonate with a synthetic rubber grafted with an aromatic vinyl compound, a cyano-aliphatic vinyl compound, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A resin composition composed of (A) 100 parts by weight of an aromatic polyester polycarbonate composed of the structural units of formulas I and II (X is bivalent group; the aromatic group may have substitution groups), wherein the molar ratios of [dihydroxy diaryl compound residue]:[terephthalic acid residue]:[carbonate bond] are 1:0.33W0.75:0.67W0.25, and (B) 5W150 parts by weight of a graft polymer obtained by grafting a synthetic rubber with an aromatic vinyl compound, a cyano-aliphatic vinyl compound and/or a (meth)acrylic acid ester.
