Abstract

PURPOSE:To form an image whose ink coat is rigidly and tightly contacted with the surface of an ink image forming plastic mold by irradiating flash on the surface. CONSTITUTION:An ink image is formed, on the surface of a plastic mold, of the ink obtained by diffusing and dissolving a simple substance pigment or a pigment- dye mixture as colorant in a vehicle made by dissolving in an organic solvent one or more of ink-coat forming materials selected out of natural resin, synthetic resin and cellulose derivative. Next, the flash of a xenon light strobe is applied to the surface of the mold. A heat-penetrative dye is desirably used therein. One or more selected out of plasticizer, surface activator, defoaming agent and rust preventives can be used as auxiliary additive for the ink.
