Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the mechanical Q, to make stable the oscillation frequency and to realize low cost, and to increase the demand, by connecting the static capacitor having 10-250% of the capacitance between two terminals at the two terminal resonator. CONSTITUTION:On one surface of the piezoelectric substrate 1', the exciting electrode 21' and capacitance electrode 24 are formed, and on another surface, the vibration electrode 25 opposing to the electrode 21' and the capacitance electrode 26 opposing to the electrode 24 are formed, and the electrodes 25 and 26 are electrically connected with the connection lead 27. In the piezoelectric resonator 10' thus formed, the electrodes 21', 25 are operated like the piezoelectric resonator and the static capacitance CX is formed between the electrodes 24 and 26 by keeping the substrate 1' in unpolalized state around this part. On the other hand, to increase the oscillation frequency, the object can be achieved by taking CX as 10-250% of the capacitor between the terminals of the electrodes 21' and 25, C0+C1.
