Abstract

PURPOSE: To stably operate the analyzer against the variation such as temperature change, by automatically calibrating the frequency through the use of the output of the internal reference oscillator.
CONSTITUTION: The observing signal unknown inputted from the terminal 1 is passed through the selector 3 and the frequency is analyzed at the frequency analyzer 4, and the result is outputted from the terminal 5. On the other hand, the output of the internal reference signal generator 2 is automatically fed to the analyzing section 4 via the selector 3 with the control signal from the selection control 6, the frequency is analyzed, and the output signal is fed to the frequency calibration section 7. The error to the reference position at the frequency region determined with the frequency of the signal generator 2 is inspected, and the calibration signal based on the result is outputted from the terminal 8 for the calibration at the analyzer 4. Thus, the spectrum analyzer having high accuracy and resolution stably operated even to the variation such as temperature change, can be obtained.
