Abstract
PURPOSE: To achieve the simplification of construction by detecting two different crank positions with one pulser.
CONSTITUTION: A protrusion 2 corresponding to a spark advance width θ is provided to a rotor 1 which is constituted by a magnetic material rotating in syncrhonization to a crank shaft. Also, a pulser 3 consisting of a magnet 4, cores 5a, 5b and coil 6 is disposed near the rotor 1. Then, while the protrusion 2 opposes to the core 5a, the air gap between the cores 5a, 5b and the rotor 1 narrows and the magnetic flux quantity of the cores become larger as compared to other cases. Hence, positive and negative waveforms are produced by leaving a specing of θ between the front end 2a and rear end 2b of the protrusion 2 in the output of the coil 6 and the signals of mutually different polarities between the end part 2a, 2b are generated and are readily separated, by which an electronic spark advance circuit 7 wherein the outputs of the respective polarities are made spark advance front position and spark advance rear position is driven, and a non-contact ignition circuit 8 may thus be operated.
