Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent unnecessary movement of a tray and perform frame feed operation accurately by providing the sandwiching means which are held apart from the tray while the tray is moving for one frame and sandwich both sides of the tray right after the movement, on both sides of the tray.
CONSTITUTION: The changer is so constituted that a slide frame 2 is moved from the inside of a tray 3 to the projecting position by one reciprocating operation of the loading arm 5 of the slide frame 2 in one turn operation of a spur gear 10 and that the slide frame 2 is contained from the projection position into the frame 2 and the tray 3 is moved by one frame by a feed gear 13. The sandwiching means consisting of the sandwiching plates 35, 36 and felts 45, 46 which position on both sides of the tray 3, are held detached from the tray 3 when the tray 3 moves by one frame and sandwich both sides of the tray 3 right after the movement are provided, whereby the unnecessary movement of the tray 3 is prevented.
