Abstract

PURPOSE: To command a clear rear view with a side mirror from a driver's seat, by fitting a hood side close to a body to eliminate a place where rain drops tend to adhere and blur the mirror face.
CONSTITUTION: A flat side 2c of a hood 2 is fitted close to the door wall 3a, so that an opening 4 made on the hood side 2c is just opposed to a sight window 6 made on the door wall 3a. A driver seated in an automobile 3 can clearly command a rear view on the mirror face 1a through the sight window 6 and opening 4 without being interfered with rain drops.
