Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the character tapping efficiency by extracting and memorizing the continuous character groups featuring a high apparance frequency among the characters, codes, symbols and others to be supplied and at the same time securing a free registering and erasion.
CONSTITUTION: In order to memorize on occasion the continuous character groups through the ordinary input operation, the signals of the necessary character groups are detected in sequence through fundamental character board 1 while pressing occupancy key 2a. Thus the signals of the detected character groups are memorized in momory circuit 4b, and the code number according to the character groups is displayed on the necessary memory code number confirmation window 4a. According to the code number displayed on window 4a, the optimum storing position is decided, and the position key is tapped to register a series of the continuous character groups to key 5 tapped and circuit 4a. After this, the codes of the continuous character groups are sent to sending circuit 6 from circuit 4b by tapping key 5. In case a series of the continuous character groups are erased, key 5 is tapped along with erasion key 2b being pressed to erase the memory contents.
