Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide dentifrice harmless to the teeth and the gum, containing a reduced amount of abrasive, by adding graphite and/or activated charcoal. CONSTITUTION:At least 5% of graphite and/or activated charcoal is added to an ordinary dentifrice. The graphite, etc. are effective to improve the luster of the tooth and clean the teeth, and enable to decrease the amount of abrasives such as aluminum phosphate which has detrimental effect to the teeth.
