Abstract
PURPOSE:Suction power of an exhauster is directly used to aspirate external air, thereby providing a highly efficient, simple means for dust collection and shake off, eliminating the need for expensive apparatus. CONSTITUTION:Dusty gas from the inlet port 1 passes through the lower precipitator room 3, enters the filter members 4, and flows through primary dust cake layer which is deposited on the internal surface of the filter cloth, where dust is trapped. The dusty gas then flows up inside the fliter room 2 and is discharged from the outlet port 13 as cleaned air. To shake collected dust off, close the air inlet dumper 10 at the inlet port 1 by the connecting rod 3 and open the gas inlet gate 9 at the wind box 8 outside the filter room 2. Then, high-speed air is injected from the jet nozzle 7 to give wind impact to the filter members 4, causing them to flap and thereby shake down excessively deposited dust from the filter members 4.
