Abstract

PURPOSE: To correctly disengage the clutch for the driven side when at low speed of rotation, in the case of a safety switch, where one of the rotary units at drive and driven side is made pressing by a compression spring to another with an engagement released between the both rotary units when an overload is generated.

CONSTITUTION: In the case with the invention applied to a transfer mechanism for actuating a planting unit of the rice-planting machine, a sprocket 4 is engaged in a floating manner to a planting unit shaft 1 axially supported by a bearing 3 to the casing 2, and rotation of the engine is transferred to the shaft 1 through a chain 5. To a spline portion 8 provided in the shaft 1, is axially slidably engaged a driven side rotary unit 9, with its end face formed into a clutch claw 10 to be engaged to a clutch claw 6 in end face of the sprocket 4, and one end of the both claws is engaged by an elastically energizing force of a spring 12 supported by a pressing force automatic adjusting means 13. The above described adjusting means 13 is constructed in such manner with many ball-hape weight 19 housed in a recessed part 17 having a tapered surface 16 in the inner face, and a pressed force to the spring 12 is adjusted in accordance with a rotational speed of the shaft 1.
