Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare a light-weight medium-foamed polyolefin sheet having improved bending hinge properties and both moderate stiffness and toughness, by mixing a specific polypropylene, high density polyethylene and low density polyethylene at a special ratio.
CONSTITUTION: A polyolefin thermoplastic resin composition comprising (A) 50W80wt.% of a polypropylene having an isotactic index of ≥90% and a melt index of 0.5W15, preferably of 1W10 (pref. propylene-ethylene block copolymer), (B) 5W40wt.% of a high density polyethylene having a density of 0.94W0.97, (C) 5W25wt.% of a low density polyethylene having a density of 0.91W0.93, and (D) 0W5wt.% of an 8W22wt.% EP rubber (e.g. amorphous copolymer containing 25W50wt.% of propylene, etc.), is compounded with a thermally decomposable blowing agent, preferably an alkoxymethylurea-type blowing agent and foamed by extruding at a foaming ratio of 2W5.
