Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a compact brake liquid pressure controller of simple structure by ensuring that, when one beake system has been broken, the brake liquid pressure urges the P-valve in the other brake system toward the opening side.
CONSTITUTION: Upon breakage of a conduit 23, and brake liquid pressure is not fed to a second inlet port 20, so that a balance piston 38 moves rightward. Attendant on the rightward movement of the piston 38, a first seal ring 48 is located on the right side of a first small hole 16, so that the liquid pressure which has been fed to a first inlet port 19 flows through the hole 16 into a first pressure chamber 54 and pushes a first plunger 59 to puch a fist piston 55 through a first biasing spring 60 and a first retainer 61. This means that the force biasing a first P-valve 57 toward the opening side is increased. That is, the brake liquid pressure for the left rear wheel is increased over that in normal state.
