Abstract

The ring 12 presses the inside of the circular body 8 against the outside surface of the shaft 3 to enlarge the contacting pressure of the sealing surface 13. when the shaft 3 is reciprocated in the axial direction, the sealing surface 13 becomes the sliding surface, but the antifriction film is formed between the segment plate 10 and the shaft 3 as the segment plate 10 is anti-slurry. Thus, the segment seal with the excellent slidability can be obtained.
