Abstract
PURPOSE: To manufacture efficiently a pipe of a desired cross section by supplying shaping material into a gap between a cylindrical body which rotates and moves downward and an outer frame.
CONSTITUTION: Band-shaped material 3' is wound helically on rotary core mold 1 by using an adhesive, and thereby cylindrical body 3, which moves continuously downward on rotary core mold 1, is formed. A reinforcing material impregrated with a resin solution is wound on cylindrical body 3, and thereby inner surface layer 4 is formed. Shaping material 6', which is made of a mixture of sand or other filler and a resin solution, is supplied between inner surface layer 4 and outer mold 5, and thereby intermediate layer 6 is formed on inner surface layer 4. Coating material 7 is wound on intermediate layer 6. A reinforcing material impregnated with a resin solution is wound on coating material 7, and thereby outer surface layer 8 is formed. An egg-shaped pipe of a sandwich structure in which intermediate layer 6 is provided between inner and outer layers 4 and 8, is solidified and integrated through solidfying furnace 9. This pipe body, together with the cylindrical body, is pulled downward and sparated from the rotary core mold and cut at a proper place.
