Abstract
PURPOSE:To manufacture the sintered body accelerable remarkably the desulfurization reaction, by regulating the weight ratio between CaC2 and CaCN2 of the sintered body to be constructed with the internal CaC2 and the external CaCN2. CONSTITUTION:At the sintered body constructed with the internal zone 2 of CaC2 and the external layer 1 of CaCN2, the weight ratio between CaC2 and CaCN2 is regulated so as to specify the weight parts of CaCN2 to 8-200 against the 100 weight parts of CaC2. By employing this sintered body after crushing as the desulphurizing agent, the desulphurization reaction is remarkably accelerated owing to the strong interaction between CaC2, CaCN2, and the molten iron.
