Abstract
PURPOSE: To permit digital signal output to be produced in direct proportion to the amount of intake air per unit rotation with a simple circuit by the use of a device generating output signal of frequency in proportion to the amount of intake air to count the number of signal per unit rotation.
CONSTITUTION: A central computing apparatus 10 reads the output signal S1 of intake air amount detecting means 9, i.e. digital signal in proportion to the amount of intake air per unit rotation, through input/output interface 12 according to the program recorded on ROM (memory used only for reading) 13 and also signal S2 of temperature of cooling water and air and of exhaust sensor which are given to input/output interface 15. Reference injection amount determined by the signal S1 is corrected by the signal S2 to figure out pulse width of injection pulse S3 which is produced from the output of the input/output interface 15 and by which an injection valve 16 is driven to inject fuel.
