Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to make the portable and thin dust precipitator cheap, by providing the turbofan connected with the motor directly at the center of main body and equipping the charging part, dust collecting part and gas exhaust opening etc. around the above fan suitably.
CONSTITUTION: The large diameter thin turobfan 12 having the draft 10 directly connected with the motor 9 supported by the stay 11 at the circumference part in nearly center of the electrical dust precipitator 1 and the gas exhaust opening 14 is provided around the fan 12 through the exhaust gas passage 13 positioned symmetrically against the motor shaft. Moreover, the volute part 15 made of foaming material, is provided in the passage 13 and noise is prevented by dividing the exhaust gas stream. Dust collecting part composed of charging part composed of the electrode 6, the discharge wire 7 etc. and the dielectric filter 8, is provided in front of the fan 12. As a result of it, the whole body of the precipitator is constructed thin and is made portable by arranging the center of gravity at central part and then, large size, large output sirocco fan by usual method, is made useless and moreover, production cost is reduced.
