Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a hydraulic driving apparatus, wherein when a ounter balance valve is in a neutral change-over position its throttle flow path is opened and a port is closed which is communicated with the counter balance valve when a change over valve is in a neutral position thereby smooth hydraulic breaking being effected.
CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic pump 1 is communicated with a change-over valve 3 of 3-position-6-port type through a discharge pipe 1b. A counter balance valve 5 is communicated with a hydraulic motor 6 through a hydraulic pipe 6. When it is desired to stop the hydraulic motor 6, the hydraulic pump 1 is driven to lower the pressure in the discharge pipe 1b, the change-over position of the counter balance valve 5 is set to 5B, and the working pressure in the hydraulic pipe 6b is loosened due to the flow resistances by the throttle flow path of the counter balance valve 5 and a check valve 4a. Furhter when the change-over position of the change-over valve 3 is changed from 3A to 3B, the area of a mouth of a port 3C is gradually reduced, the working hydraulic pressure is elevated, and therefore hydraulic breaking is smoothly applied on the hydraulic motor 6.
