Abstract

PURPOSE: To detect excellently the velocity of a traveling body with a noise effectively removed by detecting noise signals at several positions in the traveling direction of the body and then obtaining correlation of them.
CONSTITUTION: Noise signals, obtained from body V which moves relatively, are detected 31 and 32 at two position at an interval of fixed distance L in the traveling direction of body V and after those signals are passed throgh LPFs 61 and 62 respectively, correlation 7 between the both is obtained; and the velocity of body V is calculated 8 from the correlation, thereby controlling corner frequencies of LPFs 61 and 62 corresponding to velocity (v) obtained by the arithmetic.
