Abstract

PURPOSE:An oily beautiful and white cosmetic stabilized and easily usable, prepared by dissolving an ascorbic acid higher fatty acid ester in an oil base in the presence of a specific trialkyl phosphate. CONSTITUTION:One part by wt. of an ascorbic acid higher fatty acid ester e.g. ascorbic acid dipalmitate, is dissolved with 0.5-100 parts by wt. of a trialkyl phosphate, e.g. triethyl phosphate, of the formula (R is 2-8C alkyl group) in a liquid oil base, e.g. isopropyl palmitate, to give the desired only beautiful and white cosmetic, which is a substantially transparent liquid.
