Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a method of working an end of a stick resin, wherein a moisture content in the resin is limited to below a prescribed level to prevent foaming during the working of the resin by heat, so that smooth resin surface can be formed.
CONSTITUTION: To prevent foaming during the working of a stick resin (such as a bristle of a hair brush) by heat and to form a smooth resin surface thereon, the bristle is introduced into a dryer or dried by hot air which has a temperature not to deform the bristle, so that the moisture content in the resin is reduced to 0.5% by weight. Then the end of the bristle is subjected to working.
