Abstract

PURPOSE: An adhesive tape that is composed of the base tape widthwise tearable with hands and the material guiding the tear direction on the base tape, thus having the direction to be torn and high tensile strength in the width direction.
CONSTITUTION: Said adhesive tape is composed of the base tape and the adhesive layers on the one or both side surfaces where the base tape consists of a widthwise tearable film and a material which guids the tear direction in the perpendicular one to the length of the tape on the one or both surfaces of the film. The base tape is made from plastic film, paper or cloth whose tensile strength is 1.5W4.5 kg/ 18mm. The material guiding the tear direction is synthetic or inorganic fiber.
