Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the generation and scattering of dusty powder by a method in which a powdery granule, e.g., an shapeless refractories, etc., used in the repairing of steel-making furnace, etc., is pneumatically delivered, mixed with a liquid at near a repairing place, and then separated from air while being mixed in a cyclone. CONSTITUTION:Water fed through the hose 3 is added through the valve 4 to powdery granules pneumatically delivered through the material hose 1 at the water addition part 2, and the mixture is further mixed with while being passed through the mixing hose 5, directed through the decelerated rectifying pipe 6 into the cylone 7, and then separated into a mixture from air while being mixed by air flow. Then, the mixture gradually falling into the vibrating tank 8 is supplied through the discharge port 14 below the vibrating tank to the repairing place while being pooled in the vibrating tank 8. Thus, the use of a long hose 1 and hose 3 enables one to execute repairing at high (or remote) places.
