Abstract
PURPOSE: A composition having excellent moldability, impact resistance and resistance to local fracture, prepared by adding to an ABS resin, an aliphatic alcohol, an alcohol ester of phthalic acid, an alcohol ester of a linear saturated fatty acid, an epoxidized product of an alkyl ester of a linear saturated fatty acid or a polysiloxane.
CONSTITUTION: 0.1W1pt.wt. (or 0.001W0.05pt.wt. when polysiloxane is selected) of at least one member selected from the group consisting of 8W22C aliphatic alcohol, an alcohol ester of phthalic acid, an alcohol ester of 16W18C linear saturated fatty acid, an epoxidized product of an alkyl ester of 16W18C linear saturated fatty acid and a polysiloxane is added to 100pts.wt. of a thermoplastic resin which is an ABS resin containing a graft copolymer prepared by grafting a mixture of an aromatic vinyl monomer and vinyl cyanide monomer onto a conjugated diene rubber polymer having a gel content of below 80wt% and an average particle diameter of at least 0.2μ, and in which said graft copolymer has a degree of grafting of 20W 50%, the resin component has an intrinsic viscosity number [η] of 0.35W0.47dl/g and the final ABS resin contains 10W20wt% of the rubber component.
