Abstract

PURPOSE: To make a cleaning body hydrous effectively by a method wherein a vessel is divided into two chambers by a member having a communicating port with an opening and shutting device and the air is extracted from one chamber, while the other chamber is supplied with overflowing water, and the cleaning body is made to be hydrous by the pressurized water.
CONSTITUTION: A cleaning body 10 is contained in a lower chamber 100b, valve 14 and 15 being closed and the air being extracted by a vacuum pump 22. At this time, the water level in a device 4 for making the body hydrous is set at the upper end f an inner tube 101 and, a switching valve 103 being opened, the water is circulated in the device 4 by a pump 9, thereby the cleaning body 10 being stirred. Air bubbles sticking to the cleaning body 10 are removed in this way and separated through a multiorifice plate 102 and the inner tube 101. After the air being removed from the cleaning body 10, the switching valve 103 and a valve 31 are closed and the pump 9 is stopped, and, by opening the valve 14, the body is made to be hydrous by the use of the head pressure. In the work for cleaning, a pump 3 is operated by using the valve 15 and the body is sent into a system 5. Thus, the work for making the body hydrous can be performed in a short time effectively.
