Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the pyroelectric image with high precision by providing plural electrodes, which can be regarded as being electrically parallel to each other, to one side at least of a pyroelectric element and by moving a shutter that is provided with a light transmittable slit on crossing the respective electrodes. CONSTITUTION:The pyroelectric element 1 is made up such that parallel black metal electrodes 3 are evaporated onto one side of the pyroelectric film 2 obtained by forming vinyliden polyfluoride and an aluminum electrode 4 is evaporated onto the back of the film. For the shutter 5, a light shielding film 6 such as black colored paper or the like, which has the light transmittable slit 7 the upper and lower widths of which are uniform, is used and its both ends are wound around the right and left rollers 8, 8'. A reversible motor 9 operates so that the shutter film can be moved at a fixed speed and be inverted every time the slit 8 reaches one end of the pyroelectric element. When a thermal photographic object 10 is present in front of the shutter 5, a thermal image can be photographed by one way movement of the slit 7.
