Abstract
PURPOSE: An extract from perlite with water is mixed with a carbon hydrate other than starch to produce a composition strengthening the growth of animals.
CONSTITUTION: Perlites including retinite and obsidian are crushed with a mill to a powder or the like, which is immersed in city water for about 20 hr with intermittent sirring to extract the effective ingredients in the perlite. The solution of effective ingredients is brought into contact with air to combine with oxygen and hydrogen and the resulting solution is used to dissolve a carbon hydrate other than starch.
