Abstract

PURPOSE:To avoid the damage of the test piece as well as ensure the free put-in and take-out of the test piece to/from the holding device, by sticking the test piece to the platelike substance possessig the aperture part. CONSTITUTION:Aperture part 10 of the necessary size is provided to corrosion- resistant platelike substance 9 which holds the test piece. A number of needlelike projections 11 are distributed on the single surface of substance 9 to fix the test piece with hanging small hole 12 drilled at the upper part of substance 9. Exposed thin film 13, the test piece, is cut into the size of substance 9 for close adhesion, and the fringe of film 13 is struck into projection 11 to be stuck to substance 9 for holding purpose. Then the test piece holding device is hung down into the steam conduit shown in the diagram and by means of hole 12. Thus the heated steam touches the entire back surface as well as the thin film surface exposing into part 10. The deterioration of film 13 progresses as the time elapses, but the thin film can be taken out while being stuck to the holding device. Thus the damage can be avoided for the thin film 13.
