Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease excessively the wear of a thermosensitive recording head and to provide a recording image having a sufficient image quality by a method wherein on a supporting carriage is arranged a recording layer containing some filler agents having a specified Mohs' hardness number. CONSTITUTION:On the supporting carriage is arranged the recording layer having as its major component leuco dye and a phenol compound generating colour when heated under a reaction with the leuco dye of organic acid, i.e. a recording layer containing some filler agents with Mohs' hardness of 3 or less to form a thermosensitive recording sheet. When it is desired to make a thermosensitive compound, noncolor leuco dye and phenol compound or organic acid are dispersed with a medium of water by a ball mill, atmizer type dispersor, or ultrasonic wave dispersor etc., broken, to make a particle diameter of some ppm. As a filler agent, a silicate ore, materials of natural and synthetic silicate aluminum salt and hydrates etc. may be applied, and the filler agent is included in the thermosensitive recording layer by 10-65wt%.
