Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the interferential signal of others' sonar units from appearing on a CRT, by performing comparison with a reference output corresponding to the detection and integration output of one's own sonar unit to control the gain of a sonar receiver. CONSTITUTION:The received wave synthesis output of a synthesis circuit 11 is conducted through BFP12, 13 whose central freuqency values are set for one's own sonar unit and others' sonar units, respectively. The output of the BFP's are integrated by detection and integration circuis 14, 15, the outputs of which are applied to comparators 18, 19. A selector circuit 16 chooses a detection and integration output of one's own sonar frequency from the circuit 14. The chosen output is amplified to a prescribed level by an amplifier 17 and then applied as a comparison reference signal to the comparators 18, 19. As a result, the comparator 18 or 19 which is supplied with a detection and integration output of a level, which is not lower than the reference signal, because of the interference of others' sonar units generates a comparison output. The gain of the amplifier of a receiver is decreased by the comparison output to eliminate an interferential signal in performing display on a CRT. An objective body can thus be precisely searched without greatly reducing the searching capacity.
