Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a fuel tank of high strength for automobiles and the like by a method wherein a parison is inflated in a specific mold in which a core material is projected inward, in such a manner that it wraps the surface of the outer periphery of the core material, and is melted solidly with said material, thereby a buffer plate part being formed in one body. CONSTITUTION:On the inner surface of a mold 1 is projected a core material 1 which is, for instance, removable from the mold and highly adhesive to a parison 3. Under the condition, the parison 3 is held in the mold 1 and inflated by the air blown into it, so as for it to wrap the surface of the outer periphery of the core material 5. By this, a tank 7 inside of which a buffer plate part 8 is provided solidly is formed. EFFECT:Even if a thin part is caused in the buffer plate part, it brings about no problem of the strength because the core material is fused solidly. By this buffer plate part, the sound of shaking fuel (sound of splashes) is damped.
