Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent effect of air resistance on the flying of the jetted ink particles by notching the deflection electrode close to the outlet thereof near the jetting axis of the jetted ink particle, the notch being in parallel with the jetting axis. CONSTITUTION:In the load controlling ink jetting printer, ink in the head body 1 is excited with the electrostrictive vibrator 3 and jetted from the orifice. The ink liquid column 13 jetted is separated into ink drops 14 and 15 in the load electrode 5 while the drops are given load according to the printing information signal from the printing signal generator and deflected according to the amount of the load in the deflection electrodes 6a and 6b. Thus the information is reproduced on the recording medium. The flection electrode 6b is notched close to the outlet thereof near the ink particle jetting shaft A parallel to the shaft so that it is integral constructed with the electrode 6a through the insulator 20 to match the multiple operation.
