Abstract
PURPOSE: To smootyly and uniformly feed wooden chips by intaking and feeding dropped wooden chips by providing a rotary drum for wooden chip storage, a stationary bearing plate facing the lower opening of the drum and a rotary bearing plate for receiving the dropped wooden chips at the lower portion of the stationary plate, thereby feeding dropped chips by sucking.
CONSTITUTION: A cyclone 2 is mounted at the top of a wooden chip storage drum 1. A rotary drum 5 is rotatably suspended at the lower opening of a stationary drum 4, teeth 6 are formed at the outer periphery of the drum 4, and engaged with a pinion gear 7 connected to a prime mover. A plurality of rollers 8 supported by legs 3 are slidably brought into contact with the lower periphery thereof. The female threads 3 of the supporting shaft 12 of a base 11 are engaged with a post 10 of a stationary bearing plate 9 opposed with the lower opening of the drum 5. A rotary bearing plate 15 fixed with wooden chip receiving groove 16 at the peripheral edge and with a gear 17 at the back center is mounted at the shaft 12 at the lower portion of the plate 9, and an intake feeding machine 19 is faced at the intake port 20 in the groove 16.
