Abstract

PURPOSE: To make possible extra reduction in thickness of the watch by lamination- constituting glass, panel cover and dial.
CONSTITUTION: Cover glass 32, panel cover 35 and dial 33 are lamination-constituted. The area of the panel cover A of the glass 32 is smaller by about 1/3 or more with respect to the entire area of the glass 32, thus even if the thickness of the glass 32 is reduced, there is impact resistance. Even more, deflection is difficult to occur and this enables the reduction in the spacing between the minute hand 39 and glass 32 and the extra reduction in the thickness of the watch. Here, the similar results may also be obtained even by supporting the glass on the inner side of more than 1/4 the panel cover.
