Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a printing ink composition having a laminating suitability and excellent adhesiveness by using as the main binder resin a mixture of a chlorinated polypropylene or propylene copolymer and a chlorosulfonated ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer.
CONSTITUTION: As the main binder resin, a mixture of 10W90pts.wt. chlorinated polypropylene or propylene copolymer(a), e.g., a chlorinated polypropylene with a chlorination degree of 10W45wt%, and 90W10pts.wt. a chlorosulfonated ethylene- vinyl acetate copolymer(b) with a chlorination degree of 3W50wt% and a sulfur content of 0.1W5wt%, e.g., those obtained from the chlorosulfonation of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer cotaining 5W60wt% vinyl acetate, is used. The binder resin is further mixed with a pigment, a solvent, a viscosity regulator, etc., to obtain the objective printing ink composition for lamination.
