Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase or decrease the attracting strength of a permanent magnet to a ferromagnetic substance provided at the end of a supporting plate by arranging a circular magnet while inserting a shaft into a slot opening between two iron supporting plates having longitudinal guide grooves and moving back and forth the magnet along the slot opening. CONSTITUTION:Two iron supporting plates 2, 3 provided with longitudinal guide slot openings 5, 6, respectively are arranged with a gap therebetween, and a ferromagnetic substance 9 is disposed at the ends of the plates 2 and 3. A disklike ferrite magnet 1 is so assembled in a slidable air gap 4 between the plates 2 and 3 while inserting shafts 1a into the openings 5 and 6 between the plates 2 and 3, and provided longitudinally movably. When they are thus assembled and the magnet 1 is approached to the ferromagnetic substance 9, the latter is strongly attracted to N and S pole pieces 7 and 8 produced at the ends of the plates 2 and 3. When they are separated, the attracting strength is vanished. Therefore, it can increase or decrease the magnetic flux density of the ferromagnetic substance 9 adpated for opening or closing a door or the like.
