Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the magnetic-flux waveform of the external portion of magnetic fields to be a smooth sinusoidal wave and to make the total amount of the magnetic fuluxes large, by providing 4 magnetic poles which contact with a metal mold and forming fine powder comprising rare-earth elements and an alloy of Co, Fe, Cu and the like in the hyperbolic magnetic fields. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic poles 11 and 12 contacted with a nonmagnetic die holder 10, and alloy powder is filled in the cavity between a core pin 7 and a die. The powder body is compressed and formed by applying DC magnetic fields. The number of poles is 4, and the poles are arranged as shown in the Figure. A nonmagnetic material is used as a die-holder material. The magnetic fields are distributed in a shape of hyperbolic lines and acted on the die. As a result, the rare-earth magnet for coreless motors whose rotation is smooth and driving force is large and which have a civity in the direction of the diameter can be obtained.
