Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the adhesion between grids and paste and the life and high efficiency discharge performance of accumulator by filling the grids, immersed in the dispersion of fluorine resin, with the paste having fluorine resin dispersion. CONSTITUTION:After lead alloy grids filled with paste are immersed in aqueous dispersion of polytetrafluoride ethylene, the polytetrafluoride ethylene particles are attached to the surface of each grid. Another aqueous dispersion of polytetrafluoride ethylene is diluted by purified water. Active material powder of lead and dilute sulfuric acid are added to said aqueous dispersion and stirred to make the paste. The lead grids to which the polytetrafluoride ethylene particles are attached are filled with this paste to provide the paste system electrode plates.
