Abstract

PURPOSE: To a coating consisting of a silicone resin and heat-resistant inorganic pigments in an organic solvent is added a catalyst powder, they are applied onto the substrate and baked to form a coating surface from which the stains by organic oils, proteins or carbohydrates of fish or animal meat can be readily removed.
CONSTITUTION: To a heat-resistant coating consisting of a silicone resin and heat- resistant inorganic pigments in an organic solvent are added a powder of catalyst that is prepared by impregnating an alumina powder with an oxide catalyst or by supporting the oxide catalyst with the alumina powder and/or a catalyst powder of oxide of a metal as Mn, Cu, Ni, etc., thus forming the coating. The resulting coating is applied to the surface of substrate, dried, and then baked at 300W600°C to carbonize the resin component, thus forming said hard, firmly adhering, porous, heat-resistant and erosion-resistant coating film.
