CONSTITUTION:A series motor 8 is connected to a DC power supply 7, and a resistor element 11 which is a current-control element is connected in parallel with an armature 10. Then, a current is always flowed from a series filed winding 9 to the resistor element 11. Field fluxes are generated in a series field winding 9 by said current, thereby the number of rotation of the motor 8 is controlled. Therefore, uncontrolled running of the number of rotation of the series motor 8 can be prevented by the action of the resistor element 11, the characteristics become similar to those of a compound motor, the control of the number of rotation becomes optimum, and the tightening of screws can be performed very accurately.
