Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a screen printing tool preventing the hardening by providing a sucking tool slidably moving on the bottom surface of the orifice board of a printing stand and thereby sucking an ink pattern printed on an air-permeable printing matter into the depth and further to the back surface of the printing matter.

CONSTITUTION: Printing operation being started, an ink block 19 is pushed by a squeeezing blade 20 and move on the surface of a printing plate 18, filling pattern orifices 5, while the excessive ink being pushed forward by the squeezing blade 20 advancing smoothingly on the surface of a picture film 4. The sliding plate 22 of a sucking tool, gearing with the squeezing tool 11, moves slidably on the bottom surface 9 of an orifice board and, supporting the orifice board 8 from the bottom, makes a cloth 16, the printing plate 1 and the squeezing blade 20 closely in contact with each other. On the other hand, at the rear end 23 of the sliding plate 22 a sucking port 24 is opened, forming a straight groove 33 in narrow width. When the sliding plate 22 positioned below the edge of the squeezing blade 20 is pushed slightly in the advancing direction to produce a small stagger, the sucking port 24 exerts a sucking action on the gap thus produced and sucks the ink from the ink block 19 not yet used for printing (not yet scraped by a doctor-blade), thereby causing the same printing effect as produced by a lot of pattern ink.
