Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a dust core which has a high filling coefficient, isotropy and high performance by a method wherein the strips of amorphous magnetic alloy obtained by quenching or liquid metal are smashed to scales, and bound with bonding agent keeping the electrical insulation among the scales. CONSTITUTION:The strips of amorphous magnetic alloy like Fe-Ni alloy, Fe-Al-Si group alloy, etc., obtained by quenching of liquid metal, are smashed to the scales, and are bound with a bonding agent 8 keeping the electrical insulation between the scales 7. By this way, the scales line up in the direction vertical to the direction of compression to form the laminated parallel plates owing to the unique shape of scales. Therefor the gap between scales in the direction of compression is extremely reduced to elevate the filling rate, and the performance of product can be improved.
