Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a printing head of high density by shortening the interval between semiconductor connecting parts provided for driving a heating part in relation to the interval between the heating parts provided in plural in an ink jet head wherein the change in pressure by thermal energy is utilized. CONSTITUTION:The interval 57 of heating parts 51 corresponding respectively to each orifice of a multi-orifice is fixed to be narrower than the interval 58 between adjacent connecting parts 53a and 53b of a diode 53 for driving selectively the heating parts 51. A recording head consists of a substrate plate 49 on which heating parts 51, 51', 51'', electrodes 50, 50', 50'', 52, 52', 52'', etc. and diode arrays 53, 53', 53'' of a pattern, a substrate plate 2'A on which many grooves 3' to constitute a liquid chamber 83 are formed, a block 2'B formed solidly with the substrate plate 2'A, and a block 80 providing a supplying chamber 79 for the recording liquid. To the tip of the substarte plate 49 is connected a lead for impressing a signal from outside.
