Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent unlevelness and creaking of a floor heating apparatus, by constituting the same with pipes having a vertically elongated cross section and expanded outwards at its central portion when pressure is acted inside the pipe and mating grooves having a narrow upper opening and a width equal to the lateral width of the pipe, in which the pipes are to be inserted.
CONSTITUTION: Pipe 1 of synthetic resin, having a vertically elongated cross section and expanded outwards at its central portion when pressure is acted inside the pipe, is inserted into mating groove 3 formed in heat-conductive plate 2. When warm water is introduced into the pipe 1, its cross section is deformed into a circular form. On the other hand, since groove 3 is shaped to have a narrow upper opening, pipe 1 is retained positively in the groove, so that there is no fear of pipe 1 coming out of the groove 3. With such an arrangement, it is prevented that the surface of floor heating apparatus becomes unlevel by pipe 1 and that creaking is caused when someone walks on the floor heating apparatus.
