Abstract

PURPOSE: To attain comfortable floor heating apparatus accompanied by less temperature change, by use of a heat accumulating material which causes change of phase at a certain temperature and by employing an arrangement in which heat released from a heat emitting member is absorbed by the heat accumulating material and then released from the same at a constant temperature.
CONSTITUTION: As heat released from heat emitting member 2 is absorbed by heat accumulating material 3 disposed adjacently of the member 2, material 3 causes change of phase from solid to liquid at its transition temperature and keeps the temperature until the change of phase is completed. When temperature of material 3 is raised after completion of phase change, it is detected by detector 7 and operation of heat emitting member 2 is stopped. Thereupon, heat accumulating material 3 releases heat at a constant temperature while causing change of phase from liquid to solid. When the temperature of material 3 is lowered after completion of the phase change, it is detected also by detector 7 and heat emitting member 2 is set again into operation. As the heat accumulating material 3, calcium carbonate, calcium chloride or the like may be used. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to obtain a comfortable floor heating apparatus accompanied by less temperature change.
