Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve installation efficiency and reduce installation cost by introducing the high pressure gas discharged from a plurality of blast furnaces into the pressure stepped-down corresponding part of a recovery turbine according to the pressure level.
CONSTITUTION: The high pressure exhaust gas from a blast furnace BF1 is introduced into the high pressure step T1 of an energy recovery turbine through a sluice valve GV1 and an emergency cut-off valve HSV1 and a governor valve GCV1. The high pressure exhaust gas from the blast furnace BF2 having the pressure slightly lower than the gas pressure described above is introduced into the medium pressure step T2 of the energy recovery turbine through a sluice valve GV2, emergency cut- off valve HSV2 and a governor valve GCV2. Therefore, through the operation of a generator G, the exhaust gas energy of a plurality of blast furnace can be recovered by each unit of turbine equipment and power generating equipment, so the reduction of installation cost and the improvement of installation investment efficiency are enabled.
